Easter Eggs In Danger Of Melting As Temperature Odds Tumble
With the mercury set to rise above 20C later this week, William Hill have been forced to cut the odds of a record Easter weekend temperature being recorded this year. Offered at 8/1 on Sunday, it is now just 6/1 that the mercury tops 27.8C over the Easter weekend and just 3/1 that this April is the hottest on record.
“It looks as though kids will have to be up early in order to find their eggs before they melt as our odds are tumbling on the Easter weekend being the hottest ever,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
William Hill weather odds:
6/1 (from 8/1 on Sunday) 2017 record Easter weekend temperature to be recorded (27.8C 2011)
3/1 April 2017 to be hottest April on record
