Johnson Becomes Favourite To Usurp Theresa May

 

 

Boris Johnson’s odds of being the next permanent Conservative Party leader have been cut by William Hill moving him from third favourite in to joint favouritism. BoJo is 9/2 alongside Sajid Javid and has leapfrogged Jacob Rees-Mogg who is 11/2.

 

It is 11/10 that there is an official Conservative Party leadership challenge this year.

 

“Boris won’t want to be tea boy for too long and he seems to be gearing up for a leadership challenge,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “We have cut his odds to take over from Theresa.”
